Hi. My name is Jason and I’m based in Wakefield. I am fully qualified and registered teacher, an ISM Registered Private Teacher, fully DSB checked and with 10+ years of experience. I trained at Chetham's School of Music, Royal Northern College of Music, The University of Manchester and University College London - see my qualifications below.
I teach Music to people of all ages at my music studio in Wakefield and across the globe online. Just last week, I taught pupils in Hong Kong, Ukraine, USA and Russia!
As a Pianist and Organist, I have worked for the Hallé, BBC Philharmonic, Royal Northern College of Music and The Armonico Consort to name a few. You can find out more about some of the things I have done by clicking here.
Teaching is one of the most wonderfully rewarding vocations. Seeing my pupils gain confidence, gain new skills and explore new musical cultures is at the forefront of everything I do. My teaching is interactive, tailored to you (don’t forget everyone is completely different and has differing strengths and weaknesses), engaging and fun.
From September 2020 I will resume teaching at my music studio in West Yorkshire whilst also continuing to tutor online.
Please note Jason is currently fully booked.
